Hair Transplants: Case 17 - FUE Repair Surgery
Description
The patient, in his mid-20s, underwent an FUE hair transplant at another clinic in the Philadelphia region. The results from that surgery left him with an unnatural appearance due to pluggy grafts and low density. He presented to BKS Hair Restoration for a repair procedure. Using detailed planning and precision with both extraction and implantation utilizing the stick-and-place technique, Dr. Shah performed an approximately 1,800-graft procedure to improve the appearance of the hairline. Results are shown at the 1-year follow-up, and the patient is pleased with the outcome. As the patient had adequate scalp donor hair available, no body hair was required for this procedure.
